Our meeting today was exceptionally successful. We became acquainted and shared information about our pasts. Gabriel demonstrated a great deal of enthusiasm and explained the origin of their interest with the Spanish language, in addition to discussing Gabriel's passion for illustration and art.
We learned the 'Alfabeto' and how to accurately pronounce the letters in Spanish, taking into consideration the distinctions between Spanish, English and other languages. Additionally, we reviewed introductory phrases used in Spanish to greet and answer greetings.
Gabriel demonstrated an impressive level of comprehension when working through the letters and words, understanding their meaning and history.
The upcoming meetings will be devoted to learning more about conversational Spanish, including reading comprehension and verbal discussion of essential Spanish words and phrases.
