About Jess
I have experience working with students in a school setting as well as a virtual setting while doing reading tutoring sessions. I will be getting my teaching license by the end of the year and have a lot of experience working with students and meeting them where they are. I homeschooled my own daughter through 5th grade, she is now in 7th and reads at a 12th grade level. I enjoy reading, being outside and I love pets.

I have helped students increase their reading fluency and comprehension with the use of tested methods in short 20 minute sessions 5 times a week. I use reading targeted to your students level of reading and continue to adjust the reading based on their level, based on weekly progress monitoring. I am working on finishing my teaching degree and am passionate about reading and teaching kids to read.
