I am a Special Education K8 Instructor in Reading Comprehension, Phonics, Writing, and Elementary Math with seven years experience teaching in Seattle public and private schools. I have a BA from Columbia College, CU in NYC, and just began a MAEED.

My teaching approach is to discern gaps in learning and meet the student where they are. Best results come when I find the weakest spot and shore that up prior to focusing on grade level work. I also seek to identify psychological factors affecting performance, especially anxiety.
