About Jacob

I have been tutoring students in grade 11 and 12 in mathematics (B,C), physics, and chemistry throughout 2017. An admirable achievement from my students is an increase in their studies from a SA3 to HA9 and I am convinced that with a little determination and perseverance the same can be achieved.

For academic reference, I received the following grades throughout year 12:
Math B - VHA7
Math C - VHA7
Physics - VHA8
Chem - VHA4
IT - VHA8

About the lesson

I am a first year university student studying both mathematics and physics and am inspired to help others gain an understanding in this field. I will make the effort to simplify (broad) mathematics in a manner easily understood to someone new to the content and challenges. Regardless if you're a visual, analogical, or structured learner I am convinced I can find an approach to the contexts that will leave you saying "Huzzah! I get it!"

Perfect! Jacob is an excellent tutor and I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with mathematics.
Prior to lessons, Jacob has looked and worked through the content I am doing at school. This is so he could prepare modelling and problems solving questions to work through together in the lesson (the area of which I am struggling). He made sure that I understood every step we did and why we did that.
Jacob is very easy to talk to and welcoming and positive.
