About Sumaita
Assalamu Alaikum! My name is Sumaita, and I am based in Melbourne, Australia. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Studies and have previous teaching experience. I can communicate in Arabic, English and Bangla. I enjoy helping women and children develop their Qur’an-reading, Arabic-language and Islamic knowledge in a welcoming and respectful environment. My goal is to make learning clear, enjoyable and meaningful while helping every student progress with confidence.

My lessons are designed for women and children of all ages, including complete beginners. I teach Qur’an reading, correct pronunciation, basic Tajwīd, short-surah memorization, Islamic Studies and beginner Arabic. Arabic lessons may include reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and simple conversation, depending on the student’s goals. I use a patient, encouraging and step-by-step approach, adapting every lesson to the student’s age and ability. Lessons are available online in English or Bangla, with flexible scheduling and regular feedback on progress.
