About Halima
I am an Islamic Tutor and have been teaching for 6 years. I also work in an Islamic Institute and have 2 classes of my own. I work with children to perfect Tajweed and Makhaarij- providing guidance from the Qaaidah, moving them onto fluent reading of the Quran. Hifdh (Memorisation) can also be incorporated in lesson upon request.

My teaching methodology consists of ensuring that the student is able to consolidate strong ability of the pronounciation and recognition of the letters to begin with. To then proceed through the Qaaidah and eventually, InShaaAllah - onto the Quran (moving onto Hifdh courses for selective students). I like to relax strong structures for students to abide by - and rather work around the dynamics of each individual child's ability.
