About Ray
I have taught students at every level starting with high school, undergraduate, graduate, doctoral as well as post-doctoral. I enjoy teaching and interacting with students tremendously, as I frequently get insights via such discussions.
I view teaching as a mentoring activity that requires understanding and patience. A one-on-one interactive setting allows me to fine tune and calibrate lessons according to my student's strengths. I am a strong believer in macro-perspective education requiring establishing a strong and broad base in order to develop deeper insights.

I try to adapt to the way my students think to convey challenging ideas. This approach has been the most beneficial in the past. I encourage students to think through problems and concepts rather than just memorize. I also try to connect concepts to real-world applications, drawing on my experience in academic research and industry.
