About Kia

Hey! My name is Kia and I’ve been teaching for several years now.

I provide private online tuition to support students to prepare for their GCSE, SATS and 11+ exams. I have diverse experience assisting students in Maths, English and Science, as well as supporting both adults and children with a variety of different learning styles.

I love teaching because I enjoy helping a student to progress in a chosen field and grow in confidence. I find it very rewarding to help someone to acquire a skill that will benefit them immediately, in their everyday life!

About the lesson

To begin with, I like to identify the level you are currently working at and assess what areas you are finding particularly challenging. This is done by means of a free induction meeting. Following this, I can design a learning plan specifically for your needs and guide you as needed.

I will also provide you with practice exam questions, to help you to feel more prepared, as well as homework assignments, tailored to your own personal workload, to support you with consolidating your learning.

Typically a lesson will last 1hr, but this can be adapted to suit your needs.

SATS, GCSEs, Functional Skills level.
