About Victoria

Passionate, professional, qualified!

I am an ESOL English teacher with 10 years of experience teaching adults and teenagers.

I teach Business English, general English and exam preparation courses.

I particularly enjoy teaching English pronunciation - this is something many students find difficult, so i love helping my students and seeing them improve with this. I think that good pronunciation is key to giving a good impression when you communicate in English.

I have am CELTA qualified and an oral examiner for the Cambridge KET, PET, FCE and CAE exams.
I have a lot of experience teaching exam preparation courses for the FCE and CAE and in the last year my exam courses have had a 100% success rate.

About the lesson

I adapt your lessons to your individual learning needs and goals. I identify your weaknesses in areas of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar use, and work with you to overcome them. You decide which topics to focus on, whether it's English for business, for social situations, for travel, or to pass an English exam.

Communication is at the core of your lessons with me. My students learn to speak English more fluently, with confidence and with the correct pronunciation. You learn through authentic interaction.

Precise error correction
You receive immediate feedback on your language use and pronunciation throughout each lesson, as well as a written copy that you can review after the lesson.

I will also suggest other learning resources that can help you in your language learning journey, such as interesting video clips or news articles related to your interests.
