About Franco
I am a Town Planner and received my MPhil in Urban and Regional Planning from Stellenbosch University in 2016. I have since worked for the University and Western Cape Government as both a lecturer and project assistant. From there on, I joined Generation Schools as a lecturer, content creator and subject co-ordinator for Cambridge IGCSE and AS / A-Level Travel & Tourism and Geography.

I based my teaching on interactive learning. As important as it is for a lecturer or teacher to teach students, so it is even more important for students to engage with the content given. Specific to Travel & Tourism and Geography, Real-life case studies are very applicable in helping studies to visualise the content. A flipped-classroom methodology is also of great use as this helps the student to learn whilst teaching others.
