About Samer

My philosophy in education stems from the learner being at the heart and center of every educational practice and approach implemented. Believing in the uniqueness of every individual, it goes without saying that empowering learners to reach their full potential is the primary purpose behind education. Just as the world is based on the concepts of cooperation and competition, then classrooms are deemed as mini worlds where it is vital to encourage learners to cooperate with one another in to build and shape their learning through wellstructured
environments that target academic progress and impact attainment. This collaboration may also yield some competitiveness of who will attain more growth than the
other, but this is OK as this is considered a healthy competition.
This flexibility is the boost for freedom of expression and creativity which lead to qualitative learning – which can also be quantified through the implementation and tracking of carefully chosen and well-crafted smart learning outcomes. In such a productive learning environment, learners exercise and thrive on independently asking and answering questions. Additionally, I believe in the power of inclusive education where learners’ individual needs are taken into account in all aspects of curriculum, instruction, and assessment. It is when a teacher is sensitive to the needs of all learners; including learners with special education needs and disabilities (SEND) that effective support can be employed. Bottom line, I do believe that
human knowledge belongs to the world; henceforth the notion that every learner is capable of succeeding and growing is for me factual.

About the lesson

I have taught in diverse systems across my career journey; American, British, SABIS, and IB. I worked as an international educator most of my life bringing cross-cultural diversity and awareness to my learners. I care for learners as if they are my children! This made my students appreciate my efforts and bond with me leading to achieve high performance and great results in all exams.
