About Heather
I am a secondary school maths and science teacher. I studied maths at the university of Exeter, and really enjoyed it. I feel it is important to continue encouraging and inspiring students to continue studying maths.
I know exam specifications though ally and have a lot of exam technics as well that I can pass on to aid students boost their grades.

I have an expert knowledge of exam specifications for GCSE maths and science and A level maths as this is my Job. As a teacher I also receive information about upcoming changes to specifications and am quick to adapt to them.
I believe that teaching is about trying to explain fully a topic. If you can understand WHY, I feel, you are more likely to remember. I also believe strongly that teaching styles must change to adapt to the student as not everyone learns in the same way. Because I am a teacher I have years of experience teaching the material in many different ways.
I am flexible when it comes to length of lessons as every student has a different concentration span.
