About Adrienne
I have been teaching maths on a 1 to 1, small group and whole class basis for 20 years. Was class teacher for a year 6 group for SATs for 17 years, gaining excellent results including being in the top 1% of schools in the country for maths at KS2. I have been a Consultant Leading Teacher in Dorset for maths for 12 years, visiting many schools to offer suppport in teaching maths and making it real for primary students.
I have taught to GCSE with 1 to 1 students and small groups.

I base my teaching on real life problems where possible, allowing students to see the impact that being confident in maths gives us in everyday life. I can relate well to those who are maths phobic as well as those who are more confident as, as a pupil myself, It had no confidence in maths lessons. I truly believe this has helped me understand those who struggle and can show those students just how practical it is to become confident with the right support. I am confident in all aspects of maths and have had considerable experience in coaching GCSE students as a 1 to 1 or small group tutor.
