About Saumya

Hello! I'm Saumya, a passionate educator with a strong academic background in Geography and Teacher Education. I hold a B.A. (Hons.) in Geography, a B.Ed., and an M.Ed., and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Sustainability Science. My journey as an educator has been enriched through teaching internships in schools, experience as a facilitator with Teach For India, and active involvement in educational research.

Beyond teaching, I have presented a research paper at a national conference and contributed two published book chapters on research methodology. These experiences have strengthened my ability to simplify complex concepts and encourage analytical thinking among students.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles. My classes focus on building strong conceptual understanding, improving confidence, and developing critical thinking rather than relying on rote memorization. I strive to create a supportive, interactive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas.

About the lesson

Hello! I am a qualified educator with a B.A. (Hons.) in Geography, a B.Ed., and an M.Ed., currently pursuing a Master's in Sustainability Science.
