About Kimberley
Hello I'm Kim and I am a Qualified Primary School Teacher. I graduated with First Class Honours in Psychology, before completing my PGCE and beginning my teaching career. I currently work as a Year 5 teacher, so I have an in depth understanding of the UKS2 curriculum. Nonetheless, I am qualified to teach across the Key Stages and have tutored children of a variety of ages.
I use a range of approaches to ensure every tutoring session in personalised to my pupil's indivdual needs. My sessions can help address any missed learning from lockdown, target challenging concepts or provide a boost for SATS/11+s. All of these are perfect for providing general boost they need to feel confident in As a teacher, I've seen the positive effects of tutoring transfer to my classroom and I appreciate the importance of 1:1 time to give children that added confidence in the classroom.
I can provide a variety of resources to help both in sessions, and independently as homework if desired. I can also provide in person, or online tutoring at flexible hours to meet your needs.
Finally, my goal is to promote a love for learning that can last a lifetime, as well as instilling self-belief in my students.
