About Caroline

I am a qualified teacher who has wanted to be a teacher all her life. I have a love for farming and science which transfers over to my classroom. Past pupils, colleagues and employers have described me as a ‘kind, determined and strong’ person. These characteristics allows me to be the ideal educator leading with interest and maintaining it with respect and trust.

About the lesson

Using my own personal experiences, qualifications and texting experience I try and blend students interests and leaning together to create an atmosphere of positive learning. I believe students learn easier and develop a positive method towards study and work when they enjoy what they learn and the environment in which they learn in. Getting to knwo my students and there interests allows me to curtail my lessons to intrigue and curtail student learning. Alongside my experience correcting exam scripts, I understand time frames and style of questioning to best assist them in completing state exams to the best of their ability.

I did Biology grinds with Caroline, and she was honestly the main reason I ended up getting a H1 in the Leaving Cert. She has a great way of explaining the trickier chapters. She focused a lot on exam technique, showing me exactly how to word my answers to pick up those specific marks. I don’t think I would have felt nearly as confident going into the exam hall without her help.
