About Karen
My name is Karen. I owned a Montessori for 13 years before qualifying as a Primary School Teacher. I also worked as a Tutor for the Degree in Early Years Studies with Portobello and London Met University. I have a special interest in Special Education and currently work as a Primary School teacher in an Autism Class. I use a gentle approach to build a relationship with each child and I use their strengths and interests to build a plan and set Targets.

I can support children with Autism or any difficulties with communication, regulation and accessing the Primary School Curriculum in Ireland. I currently work as a teacher in an Autism Class. I use a gentle approach to build a relationship with the child and when I get to know their strengths and interests, I work with parents to devise targets and a plan for the child.
