I am a qualified Spanish teacher, I have a first class masters degree in French and Spanish from the University of St Andrews in the U.K, and have lived in Colombia. I've been in Melbourne for the last 2 years, and I have taught high school Spanish from years 7-12 for over 7 years. I am a qualified Spanish teacher, I have a first class masters degree in French and Spanish from the University of St Andrews in the U.K, and have lived in Colombia. I've been in Melbourne for the last 2 years, and I have taught high school Spanish from years 7-12 for over 7 years. I've also tutored university students and those preparing for travels to Spanish-speaking countries.
I believe in lots of repetition to remember key words and phrases, and tailoring lessons to each client's specific needs, be it passing an exam in Spanish, or preparing for travel to a particular Spanish-speaking country. Have taught a wide age range from 10 years old to adult. I see vocab and words as the bricks and grammar as the mortar, and can help with the learning of both. I can also have lessons focused more exclusively on speaking practice should that be what you desire.
Although not a native speaker of French or Spanish I see this as a strength, as I have been in many learners' shoes, and so understand what it takes to learn a new language as a native English speaker - I can help with all the hints and tricks! :)
