About Ayoka
Hi! I’m a qualified Secondary Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry, currently teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics in a secondary school. Working in the classroom every day means I have up-to-date knowledge of the KS3 and GCSE curriculum, as well as the exam skills and techniques students need to succeed.
I believe that every student is capable of making progress when they feel supported and understood. I aim to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence in their abilities.
Whether your child needs help strengthening the basics, preparing for GCSE exams or building confidence in Science, I will tailor every lesson to their individual learning style and goals. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students enjoy learning and become independent, confident learners.

I am a qualified Secondary Science Teacher specialising in Chemistry, with experience teaching KS3 and GCSE Science in the classroom. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their individual needs, whether they are aiming to build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, or achieve the highest grades.
My lessons are structured, engaging and interactive. I begin by identifying any misconceptions before explaining concepts clearly using examples, diagrams and retrieval practice. Students then apply their knowledge through exam-style questions, with regular feedback to develop their exam technique and maximise marks.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are delivered online. I teach KS3 Science (Years 7–9) and GCSE Chemistry (Years 10–11), and I can support students of all abilities, from those needing extra confidence to those aiming for top grades.
As a current classroom teacher, I am familiar with the GCSE curriculum and understand the skills students need to succeed in their assessments. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, develop confidence in Science and make consistent progress.
