About Rizia
I am a Secondary school teacher with a degree in Psychology and 1.5 years of experience in teaching Geography. I started my teaching career in England, UK wherein I tutored Primary-school aged students Maths and English (numeracy and literacy). I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Masters in Teaching. I am passionate about culture, the environment and the human mind.

The qualities and skills I possess that will enable me to teach effectively include a calm and patient demeanor. I have the ability to build positive relationships with my students using my inclusive approach to teaching. I have also proven the ability to commit to educational excellence, which is demonstrated by my drive to ensure that every lesson I teach is planned, prepared and has the best interest of my students in mind. I ensure that as much as possible, my lessons are not just teacher-directed but also student-led so that they take more ownership in their learning and feel more empowered. Other qualities include great presentation and communication capabilities, in-depth knowledge of the subject matter and an understanding that I too must consistently learn and grow alongside my students.
