About Maja
Hi, I’m Maja (pronounced Maya).
I originally leaned more towards the humanities before falling in love with space and physics, so I understand how intimidating science can feel at first. I’ve been through challenging exams myself and worked my way to a first-class degree.
I’ve also taught students in classrooms who didn’t always want to be there, which pushed me to find ways to make difficult concepts actually make sense.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy creative projects and aerial hoop, and I bring a calm, focused approach to the work I do.

I offer 1–2 hour lessons focused on exam success. Most students I work with understand the theory but struggle to apply it, so I focus on breaking down exam questions step by step and showing how to approach them with confidence.
Lessons are tailored to each student. We work through past paper questions, build exam technique, and revisit theory where needed to make sure everything clicks.
I’m a qualified science teacher with classroom and online tutoring experience across KS3, GCSE and A-level. I teach all sciences at KS3 and GCSE, and Physics at A-level.
I work with a wide range of abilities and learning styles, and support students with different goals. I also support equivalents such as IGCSE and BTEC Applied Science.
