About Jade

I'm an athletic individual who spends most of my free time in the gym and playing football. Therefore, I completely acknowledge the need for down time. Growing up is hard. The emphasis placed on societal academic validation is huge nowadays. I will always focus on what YOU need in the lesson. Whether it is: - Revision for a topic test - Exam question practice and techniques - Revisiting previously taught content - Improving areas that you are self aware that you find challenging - Providing multiple revision techniques and strategies.
After teaching in a school alongside tutoring, I find offering one-to-one support much more rewarding for myself. When you make mistakes, you learn. Offering the psychological safety to take risks during lessons is something I pride on. I will support and encourage you through your Science and Mathematics journey. My current students know that when working with me, I wish for all that you wish for yourself.

About the lesson

I'm an enthusiastic tutor with three years of one-to-one experience in delivering online lessons in GCSE Combined Science, Triple Science, GCSE and IGCSE Mathematics and A level Biology. This is accompanied by 3 years of recent qualified teacher classroom experience of the Combined Science curriculum and A level Biology.

I’ve had the privilege of supporting students from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level in and out of a classroom setting. I take pride in building strong and trusted professional working relationships with parents and carers to support their children's confidence and academic growth.

My approach is rooted in current SEND and metacognitive strategies of modelling and questioning, whilst applying the government's teacher's standards to ensure high quality lessons and efficient learning. I have a strong emphasis on creating a learning environment that promotes psychological safety—where students feel secure, valued, and motivated to take intellectual risks. I guarantee purposeful progress in every lesson, tailoring each session to support in specific areas and topics.
My support extends beyond delivering subject content for the holistic GCSE and A level curriculums.

I place equal emphasis on developing essential skills such as exam question application, interpretation of command words, mathematical proficiency, analysing data and how to conduct and evaluate the required practicals of each science.
