About Vincent
Hello, my name is Vincent.
I have dedicated much of my career to helping students understand Science and achieve their academic goals. I am a qualified Science teacher with a PGCE, a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering.
My teaching experience includes teaching Science in secondary schools and teaching A-Level Chemistry at college level from 2012 to 2016. Throughout my career I have worked with students of different ages, abilities and backgrounds, helping them overcome challenges, build confidence and make meaningful progress.
One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for me is seeing students develop confidence in subjects they previously found difficult. I believe that every student can succeed when learning is explained clearly, broken down into manageable steps and supported with patience and encouragement.
As a tutor, I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their understanding. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but also to help them become more confident and independent learners.

My lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student. I begin by identifying strengths, gaps in knowledge and areas for improvement before creating a structured plan to help students make confident and lasting progress.
I am a qualified Science teacher with a PGCE, a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. In addition to teaching Science in secondary schools, I previously taught A-Level Chemistry at college level for four years, giving me experience supporting students across a wide range of ages and abilities.
My teaching style focuses on making Science clear, engaging and accessible. I break complex concepts into manageable steps and use targeted questioning, retrieval practice, worked examples and exam-style questions to develop understanding and confidence.
Lessons are personalised to each student's needs. Whether a student is aiming to build confidence, strengthen their understanding of key concepts, improve exam technique or achieve higher grades, I provide clear guidance and structured support throughout their learning journey.
I offer tuition for Key Stage 3 Science, GCSE Combined Science, GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, as well as A-Level Chemistry. My goal is to help students become more confident learners and achieve their full academic potential.
