About Jasmine
Hi, I’m Jasmine. I’m a qualified primary school teacher with a First-Class degree in English Literature. I’ve taught Year 2 and Year 3 in school and have also spent a year tutoring pupils in Years 5 and 6, so I have experience working with children across different stages of primary school. I really enjoy helping children become more confident in their learning and creating a space where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I know every child learns differently, so I always try to be patient, encouraging and adapt my approach to the individual child.

I offer personalised English tuition for primary school children, with each lesson based around what your child needs support with. This could include reading, writing, comprehension, spelling and grammar, help with schoolwork, or simply building their confidence in English. I’ll adapt the lessons depending on their age, ability and what they are currently working on at school. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, and I offer a free 30-minute trial so I can get to know your child, understand where they may need support and work out the best approach for them. I like to keep lessons friendly and engaging, using a mixture of activities, discussion and practice rather than making the session feel like another hour of school. My aim is to help children make progress while also becoming more confident and comfortable with their learning.

Jasmine was a great tutor to me, I always struggled with English especially as it wasn’t my first language but Jasmine was always patient and helped me understand concepts I never was able to understood. She always tailored her plan to adjust to my learning level as well as helping me to implement the necessary structure I needed for exams!
