About Alex
Hello, I’m Alexandra, and I’m delighted to be part of your learning journey.
I am a dedicated and nurturing primary teacher with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Education and Learning, a Primary PGCE, and five years of classroom teaching experience. Teaching has always been my passion, and I love helping children build the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to succeed.
One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing a child experience that special “light bulb moment” when something clicks and they realise what they can achieve. I believe every child can thrive when they are supported, encouraged, and challenged in the right way.
I have a vast experience working with a wide range of learners, including EAL pupils and children with SEND. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to boost their confidence, or extend their learning, I am committed to helping them reach their full potential and develop a love of learning.

My lessons are carefully tailored to each child’s individual needs, strengths, and learning style, ensuring they feel confident, supported, and motivated to succeed. I create engaging, interactive sessions that build strong foundations while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
A typical lesson begins with a clear review of prior learning, followed by targeted teaching, guided practice, and opportunities for independent application. I use a variety of resources and teaching strategies to keep pupils engaged and to help them develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.
I have extensive experience supporting children with SEND and EAL learners and adapt my teaching to ensure every learner can access the curriculum and make progress at their own pace. Whether your child needs help closing gaps in learning, preparing for assessments, boosting confidence, or extending their abilities, I provide a personalised approach that helps them achieve their goals.
