About Emma
I am a mother to 3 older children, I also have 1 dog, 2 cats and a bearded dragon. At 11 years old (thanks to a crazy chemistry teacher) I fell in love with science and started to not only study it, but to read around the subject. Starting with the new scientist and scientific America magazines. My love of science and teaching it continues today.

Following an initial meet and greet 30-minute session covering individual students’ interests, preferences and requirement assessment, I will prepare an individual educational plan detailing specific learning areas to be covered over a series of 1 hour lessons taught as standard through Microsoft teams.
Lessons will be taught around the working model of memory theory, with plenty of engaging opportunities for students to assess their continued progress through formal and informal assessment and recap, specifically focussing on crucial knowledge and its applications.
Resources I will use in addition to my own knowledge and impairing my skills may include personalised multimedia lessons which may include practical demonstrations and regular feedback to both students and parents.
For those students who are getting close to taking their GCSE’s fast tracked exam focussed lessons are available, but, will require a more detailed initial assessment.
