About Jose

MEET ME ONLINE AND I WILL QUENCH YOUR THIRST FOR LEARNING SPANISH!! (GCSE and A level expert) I’m a passionate, creative and approachable online tutor, having accumulated several years as a Spanish teacher in a High School based in Central London. I am a vibrant tutor highly experienced in teaching online who provides tutoring for learners of all ages, levels, needs or goals, as well as organize lessons and courses for groups!

The way I work online is face-to-face, ensuring the personal touch as if we were having the lesson in your house. Working Via Skype and using the latest interactive resources, I communicate in a very visual way, always accommodating your needs by preparing an individual tailored teaching program for you.

If you are aiming for an A* in your GCSE or A-level… I am fully conversant with the National Curriculum and familiar with the specifications of every single examination body. I know the nature of the exams very well, every year I steer many students to success.

You will love my lessons, as I am convinced that everyone enjoys having experiences that give them an opportunity to communicate, express, explore and progress! The focal point of my lessons is learning on a communication basis, would you like to try it?

I stay in touch most of the time and am also quite flexible with appointments, do not hesitate to contact me and we will find most suitable time for your lesson!

About me:

I obtained the degree in Primary School Education from the University of Valencia (Spain) and I spent three years working in a public Spanish school. During this time I was as well imparting particular lessons and providing support students who struggled in any subject, then I had my first contact with foreigners who needed improve their Spanish. Since then, it was born my passion for teaching Spanish and from the moment I arrived in London I was developing my career as a Spanish teacher. I started working as a Spanish teacher volunteer, obtained my Qualified Teacher Status and began working as a Spanish teacher in a highly rewarded Academy of London, were I have been working four academic years. Currently, I am in Spain working as a Spanish teacher in a International School and combine this with supporting Spanish learners online; it is really rewarding for me!

When you love what you do, you radiate good feelings, and people can feel this too! If you know how to engage your learners and how to maximize their potential, just after a few lessons they will feel the difference and the outcomes will feed their motivation to continue...

From my experience I can say that in order to be able to teach genuine Spanish, it is essential not only to be native and possess a deep knowledge of Spanish language and culture, but also to have the experience and cognizance to provide adequate learning experiences, responding to the needs of learners, whatever their characteristics.

I consider myself a responsable, friendly and communicative person and always strive to help the people who are in need. I chose this career because teaching is one of the best ways to help people and I have found my vocation in teaching Spanish.

As a teacher it is vital for me to engage and motivate learners, understand how they progress and believe in their learning potential. I always show enthusiasm, empathy, integrity and… something essential.... if it was not fun, it was not a good lesson!

Perfect! Supportive and Patient

Jose is an excellent and skilled tutor. My son went from a C grade, to an A* in a matter on months. He's reliable, always happy and ready to help. His atmosphere in lessons is very beneficial and friendly, and he can conducts his lessons in Spanish if need be, which further helped Fadi's learning and understanding. He's very organised, and keeps tabs on my sons progress, to make sure he is learning. I've even started my other son with him, and I know he's in good hands!
