About Henna
I have been a fully qualified and experienced tutor for nearly 2 years.
I have worked for NumberWorks'n'Words as a Maths tutor and have worked with students from ages 6 - 16.
I received a 9 at GCSE Maths and an A in Further Maths (you're in safe hands with new formats)

I am able to teach from Primary school up to GSCE. This includes the new format GCSE and also 11+ Grammar School Tests in both Non-verbal and Verbal reasoning papers.
General Lesson Structure: 1 hour (will be individually catered to each student's needs)
- Warm up questions: These will include 5 quick age-appropriate questions covering a range of topics
- Homework Feedback: This maybe set, or can be homework from school which I can help with
- 10 - 15 mins on focused subject 1: This may include topics such as Algebra, long multiplication or even Angle theorems (again, these main subjects will depend on each student)
- 10 - 15 mins on focused subject 2: Same as above
- (possible) 10 - 15 mins on focused subject 3: Depending on how long the previous two subjects lasted there may be time for another
- Setting of homework task or cool down exercise (a nice game at the end!)
My whole objective is to deliver a fun, educational lesson that is personally aimed at each student to gain their best potential.
This lesson plan is not a strict plan, however it is more of a guideline to show how lessons may go ahead.
I have full access to lots of different tips and tricks to help each student feel confident in their ability, rather than me just teaching.
