About Saeed
I am a UK-qualified Math teacher with a PGCE and QTS, currently teaching KS3 and KS4 in an OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in London. With a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and several years of tutoring experience, I am passionate about making math clear, logical, and accessible for all learners.
I chose to teach because I genuinely enjoy helping students overcome barriers in math and build the confidence they need to succeed. Seeing students move from uncertainty to independence is the most rewarding part of my role. My goal is to provide supportive, structured lessons that help every student make measurable progress and achieve their full potential.

Every lesson begins with a clear learning objective that is shared with the student so they understand exactly what they are working towards. By the end of the session, students are expected to demonstrate this objective through independent practice and exam-style questions.
I typically:
Start with retrieval practice to strengthen prior knowledge
Break new content into small, manageable steps
Use clear modeling and worked examples
Apply targeted questioning and frequent checks for understanding
Provide guided practice before independent work
Address misconceptions immediately through adaptive teaching
