About Susan
I am a qualified Mathematics and Physics teacher with a Bachelor of Science in Physics with IT, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), and additional subject enhancement in Mathematics. I have experience teaching secondary school students, supporting learners preparing for examinations, and assisting undergraduate Physics students in laboratory and problem-solving sessions.
I am passionate about helping students discover that Mathematics and Physics can be understood with the right guidance and practice. I enjoy seeing learners grow in confidence, improve their academic performance, and develop critical thinking skills. My goal is to provide patient, supportive, and engaging lessons that inspire students to reach their full potential.

My lessons are tailored to each student's learning needs, academic level, and goals. During the first lesson, I assess the student's strengths and identify the areas that need improvement so that I can create a focused learning plan.
I explain Mathematics and Physics concepts step by step using simple language, practical examples, and guided problem-solving. Every lesson includes interactive discussions, worked examples, and practice questions to strengthen understanding and build confidence.
For Cambridge IGCSE students, I incorporate past papers, exam-style questions, and effective exam techniques to help them perform well in assessments. I also provide regular feedback, monitor progress, and adjust my teaching approach as the student improves.
My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, develop independent problem-solving skills, and achieve lasting academic success.
