About Tia

I’m a qualified Pilates instructor with Level 3 Mat and Reformer certifications, and a former elite diver who competed internationally for England for 9 years.

My background has given me a strong understanding of movement, body control, and technique, which I bring into every session. I focus on helping clients build strength, improve posture and flexibility, and develop confidence in their bodies.

  • What age did you start playing sport? Tell us about this time or moment in your life.

    I started sport at a very young age, beginning gymnastics at 3 years old before moving into diving at 7. I competed in diving for 9 years, representing England at international competitions. Sport was a huge part of my childhood and taught me discipline, resilience, and confidence.
  • What are your favourite sports; those that you practice at a high level, a simple hobby, and a sport that you’d still like to discover?

    Diving has always been my favourite sport, and I competed at a high level throughout my career. These days, I enjoy running and Pilates. I love running for the challenge and the feeling of pushing myself, and I completed a half marathon last year. Pilates helps me focus on alignment, control, and strength through slow, precise movements. I’d love to try climbing or ice skating in the future.
  • What gives you the motivation and passion to pursue your sport?

    My dream was always to go to the Olympics, which gave me a clear goal to work towards. I loved challenging myself, improving my skills, and seeing the results of hard work and dedication.
  • Do you have a sporting achievement that you’re particularly proud of?

    I’m proud of winning medals at many competitions throughout my diving career and competing at the GB National Cup. Representing England at numerous international competitions was a significant achievement.
  • How have your achievements and challenges made you a better sportsperson?

    Training and competing at a high level taught me discipline, consistency, and how to stay focused under pressure. The challenges I faced helped me develop resilience and a strong work ethic, which I carry into everything I do today.
  • If you had to go for a jog with a famous athlete, who would you choose? And what questions would you ask them?

    I’d choose Usain Bolt. I’d love to hear about his mindset before major competitions and how he handled pressure while performing at the highest level.
  • How do you help people stay motivated?

    I focus on setting realistic goals, celebrating progress, and making sessions enjoyable. Building confidence through small wins helps people stay motivated and keep improving.
  • What makes you a Superprof in sports?

    As a former international diver, I understand the dedication, discipline, and mindset needed to succeed in sport. I’m passionate about helping others build confidence, develop their skills, and enjoy the process of learning and improving.
