About Karen
I am a qualified teacher and have taught in state, private and language schools. I have a PGCE, CELTA and LAMDA drama qualifications. I am currently undertaking an MA in creative writing for children.
I have taught numerous age groups, including college students. I am extremely patient and I have taught younger children for many years. I appreciate how busy parents are and how fitting in regular spellings and reading sessions are often a real problem!

Learning should be fun and interactive. A range of teaching skills are used dependent on the student's needs. It is not only about teaching the subject, but giving positive feedback and building confidence. Pupils will be challenged but in a hand-holding, constructive manner.
