About Sarah
Hi, I’m Sarah! I am the founder of Sarah Bridge Tutoring and a UK-based, qualified primary teacher with an enhanced DBS check. I qualified as a teacher in 2017 and since then, have supported hundreds of children aged 5-11.
I have a BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies degree and a teaching PGCE from Sheffield Hallam University.

Three key words that parents have used to describe me over the last 3 years as a tutor are patient, nurturing and engaging. I pride myself on creating fun, interactive lessons, using games, quizzes, drama, videos and pictures to bring learning to life and support progress. I provide lots of encouragement and praise during my lessons to boost confidence and instil self-belief. As well as supporting students academically, it’s really important to me that students develop a love for learning and feel supported.
I specialise in teaching creative writing, SPAG and reading comprehension to children aged 7 - 11 and also support students sitting 11+ exams (English and verbal reasoning).

Tuesdays at 12pm or any time between 2:45 - 4:15pm
Thursdays at 12pm or any time between 2:45 - 4:15pm
May be suitable for home-ed or international students.
Online Group Classes Available (UK times)
- 11+ creative writing - Tuesdays 4:35pm
- 11+ reading - Thursdays 4:35pm and 5:40pm
- 11+ verbal reasoning - Wednesdays 4:30pm
- KS2 English (7- 9 year olds) - Tuesdays 1:30pm
- KS2 English (9-11 year olds) - Thursdays 1:30pm
