About Rebecca
I am a CELTA qualified ESL teacher with 15 years of experience teaching English to foreign students from 4 - 60 years old. I have taught in the UK, Europe, South East Asia and Africa and have taught students online and face-to-face, in group classroom settings and one-to-one private lessons. I have helped students prepare for proficiency exams such as IELTS and FCE, and taught general and business English. I have a background in drama, which enables me to deliver articulate lessons with confidence, and my love of travelling has taken me around the world discovering new places and cultures.

I am very flexible and believe each student has different needs and abilities and learns in a different way. I always begin my lessons by establishing what skills need improving and goals need to be achieved, then create interesting and relevant lessons based around a student's personal interests and talents. I am expressive, open-minded, respectful and culturally sensitive and enjoy working with people from all over the world. I like my students to feel relaxed and comfortable in order to truly benefit from their lessons.
