Having worked with Grace for about 4 years - as a teacher of GCSE and A Level English Language and Literature - and also having seen her work with my own son in preparation for his GCSEs in June '24 - it is impossible to imagine anyone better to work with students preparing for both GCSE and A Level English specifications.
Grace possesses an exhaustive understanding of all AQA GCSE and A Level texts and extensive knowledge of the content of the exams. Alongside this is her considerable experience marking both A Level and GCSE papers (including as an examiner employed by the exam board) and through her roles as Head of Key Stage 4 (GCSE), Head of Key Stage 5 (A Level) and Head of English.
Seeing her work with my son (Grade 6, targeting Grade 7+), and having heard his feedback about their sessions, I was constantly impressed with the range of skills he was able to develop under her tutelage and her ability to engage him in the work he was doing, all of which she prepared in advance.
