About Demay
I tutor 4 sessions a week (3 students at once) and all of them talk about how fun I make tutoring. I create work that fits your interests and ensure you have engaging work that you actually enjoy. When I started my first session, one of my students went into school and told others about me and consequently, I ended up having to do an extra session for the 3 students he persuaded to join me. They all ended up improving by a minimum of 3 grades from starting tutoring to finishing tutoring. As a younger teacher, I find I have more interesting conversations with the students and try my best to make the students feel comfortable and supported without feeling pressured.

I create lessons that focus on building confidence and breaking barriers to learning. At all levels, students who are struggling often don't understand what they are doing wrong or how to boost their level and understanding. This is where I come in. I analyse their work, break down mark schemes and ensure that they fully understand each aspect of their work and the expectations in a supportive and warm way. Every student is different and I ensure that each student feels confident when they leave my sessions. My sessions last 1 hour and can be for anyone from 11+ and can follow any exam board at GCSE or A-Level, as I have experience in them all.
