I am a qualified English teacher, also qualified to teach computer studies standard grade. I have taught for over 15 years in a classroom situation, have set provincial matriculation examinations for the Western Cape Education Department, have taught mainly matric and senior classes, learners have passed their matriculation examinations 100%.

I base my classes on formal academic teaching, tested by informal, real-world discourse and interaction, based on the outcomes based model currently in use by the WCED. A .lot of the teaching is based on examination preparation of the learners, as this will be how they will be measured in terms of their own language proficiency and acquisition.
