About Emma
I am a fully qualified primary teacher with seven years’ experience supporting children with dyslexia and reading difficulties. Having struggled with school myself, I became a teacher to help change children’s experiences and make learning enjoyable. I love thinking of creative ways to make lessons fun, using structured, evidence-based programmes like the Wilson Reading System to build confidence, reading fluency, and spelling skills.

My 45-minute online lessons follow the Wilson Reading System, a structured, evidence-based programme designed for learners with dyslexia and reading difficulties. Lessons are systematic, explicit and multisensory, focusing on phonics, decoding, spelling and reading fluency. Each session is carefully paced, supportive and tailored to your child’s individual needs and confidence level.
