About Ethan

I'm a recently qualified doctor with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Education, and multiple years teaching students at all levels of education.

I offer tuition for:
- Medicine interviews
- A-level Biology, Chemistry, French
- GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French

I held offers to study medicine at Oxford, Imperial, and UCL, and achieved A*A*A* at A-level (Biology, Chemistry, French). I also obtained a top 5% BMAT score in the country for my cohort.

I have experience in both GCSE and A level tuition, as well as experience teaching medical undergraduate students as part of the Medical Education team at the University of Leeds, as well as coaching multiple classes of students through the entire medical admissions process.

Whether it's GCSEs or A-level tuition, or medical school interview coaching, I enjoy helping students gain an understanding of a subject, and getting them exactly to where they want to go, while developing their confidence.

For medical school interviews, I offer a structured programme to help you with every type of interview, whether it's panel or MMI, and will carry out mock interviews with you to get you ready for the big day.
As someone who interviewed at and received offers from multiple top universities, and who has studied medical education, I understand what medical schools are really looking for, and know how to show them that you will be a great medical student.

About the lesson

- I enjoy working collaboratively with students, helping them build a genuine understanding of a subject
- Lessons are interactive: identifying gaps early, coming up with a structured, goal-oriented plan, and using mock-exam practice to get you ready

- Lessons will normally last an hour

My background:

- Medical doctor (MBChB, Leeds) with a BSc in Medical Education. A*A*A* at A-level (Biology, Chemistry, French), with offers from Oxford, Imperial and UCL. A year teaching on the Leeds Medical Education Team, plus years of tutoring GCSE/A-level students and coaching aspiring medics through personal statements, interviews, and OSCEs

- My lessons are available for students studying for GCSEs and A Levels, and students in the process of applying to medical school
