About Bilal

I am a qualified BDS dentist and current MPH student with proven experience tutoring O Level and A Level Biology. I bring a professional, structured approach to teaching, focusing on building strong foundations, clarifying complex concepts, and preparing students effectively for exams. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring confidence, understanding, and measurable progress. With my academic background and practical tutoring experience, students can trust in a professional, reliable, and supportive learning environment.

About the lesson

My name is Bilal, and my approach to tutoring is student-centred, structured, and exam-focused. I believe strong results come from clear concepts, consistent practice, and confidence building. I begin by assessing a student’s current level and identifying weak areas, then tailor lessons to meet their individual learning needs. Complex topics are broken down into simple explanations using diagrams, real-life examples, and step-by-step reasoning. Regular past paper practice, exam techniques, and feedback are a key part of my teaching methodology.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, which includes concept explanation, guided practice, and exam-style questions. Longer sessions can be arranged when needed, especially closer to exams.
I hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and am currently studying for a Master’s in Public Health (MPH). I have experience tutoring O Level and A Level students, particularly in Biology, supported by strong subject knowledge in human biology, anatomy, and medical sciences. My lessons are suitable for secondary school and college-level students, typically aged 14–18, including those preparing for exams or retakes. I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and results-driven, helping students improve both understanding and performance.

AMAZING amazing teacher! I've studied biology with him so many times over the past months, and it has completely revolutionized the subject for me. I never thought I could get bio inside my head as a math student because it always felt like plain memorization. I didn't realize I just needed a teacher to explain the topics in an interesting way!

Bilal is exceptionally skilled in his subject, and this shows in the way he plans his lessons and explains concepts. He's been tutoring my daughter for 5 years now, and I've never felt the need for any additional assistance.
