About Laurence

Bonjour ! Je m'appelle Laurence ! I'm Laurence.

I'm a French Canadian native based in Glasgow. I qualified in the UK as a teacher of French as a Foreign Language (PGCE). Having studied literature in Québec (B.A. and M.A.), I am passionate about sharing my language and showcasing different cultures to my students.

I love everything that has to do with languages, cultures, art, crafts, and traveling. I've also been a tap dance teacher for years!

About the lesson

Whether you want to learn French to travel or to prep for your exams, let me help you succeed!

As a qualified teacher (PGCE), I have experience within the Scottish and English education systems. I have helped students prepare for their GCSEs, A-Levels and Scottish qualifications, and I have helped bilingual children develop their skills.

I also understand that language learning can be stressful! My approach is always positive and encouraging.

I know Laurence from the International Baccalaureate we did together. Laurence was the best in our literature classes, and we were so happy that she finally pursued her passion for French language as a career (even if she also loves science)! Whatever your level, I am sure Laurence will be able to make you step forward, and I am sure it won’t be boring.
