About Sarah

Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a qualified architect with over five years of personal tutoring experience in England and Dubai.I am highly motivated, knowledgeable and naturally patient, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. I genuinely enjoy working with children and have a particular ability to connect with them, understand their individual personalities and bring out their confidence and potential.

My own experience as a student has strongly influenced the tutor I have become. There were times in my education when I was underestimated and made to doubt what I was capable of achieving. With the right guidance, individual attention and support, I was able to overcome those challenges and go on to achieve far more than was expected of me. This taught me something I carry into every lesson: a child’s ability should never be defined by their difficulties at a particular stage of their education.

For me, tutoring is about much more than completing schoolwork. One to one teaching allows me to build trust and genuine communication with a child, understand how they think and learn, and recognise both their strengths and the areas holding them back. I believe that when children feel understood and supported, they become more willing to participate, ask questions and challenge themselves.

I want my students to leave my lessons not only knowing more, but feeling more capable. By building a strong relationship with each child and making learning engaging and rewarding, I hope to help them develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning

About the lesson

With five years of tutoring experience in England and Dubai, I provide patient, engaging and personalised tuition in Maths, English and Science for children across Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. As an educator and architect with extensive professional experience in the UK, I bring strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills to my teaching.

I specialise in the English curriculum while also having good knowledge of other curricula. I closely follow each child’s academic development, identifying their individual strengths and areas for improvement. Every lesson is tailored according to my findings, providing the right level of support and challenge for each child. As a mother, I also understand the importance of patience, encouragement and creating an environment where children feel comfortable, focused and motivated to learn.

My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but to build confidence, independence and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
