About Jack
Hello! My name is Jack and I am a qualified primary teacher (QTS status). I studied for my PGCE at UCL's Institute of Education - the world's number one centre for education. Currently, I teach in a primary school in London and I am looking to tutor for extra experience over holidays. As a qualified teacher, I have the skills to teach at all levels of education.
My main interest is delivering engaging lessons which students can be actively involved in - this is how we best learn. I utilise a range of methods to ensure students are an active part of the learning process, so that learning is as enjoyable as possible and knowledge is properly extended. I also have a BSc degree in Psychology, which gives me extra grounding in how learners best take on new skills and knowledge.
I have experience working across the curriculum, with primary-aged children up to children studying for GCSEs, working on a one-to-one basis, and working with special educational needs. I also have a DBS certificate.
