About Dean
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher with over five years of classroom experience, including three years teaching in Year 6. I am currently a Key Stage 2 teacher and have extensive experience preparing pupils for SATs, having supported children through the process for over ten years.
Through my classroom experience, I have developed a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and the specific skills pupils need to succeed in reading, writing and English. I am familiar with SATs expectations and use effective strategies to help children build confidence, improve their skills and achieve their full potential.
I am a patient, supportive and encouraging teacher who believes every child can succeed with the right guidance. I pride myself on creating a positive learning environment where children feel comfortable, motivated and confident in their abilities.
My goal is not only to help pupils improve academically, but also to help them feel confident and well prepared for their SATs and beyond.

My online lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs, with a strong focus on building confidence as well as improving attainment.
As an experienced primary school teacher with extensive Year 6 and SATs preparation experience, I understand the specific skills children need to succeed in reading, writing and English.
Lessons are engaging, structured and supportive. I use a range of resources, practice questions and strategies to help pupils develop key skills, close gaps in understanding and feel fully prepared for their SATs. I also focus on boosting confidence and reducing anxiety so children feel calm and ready.
Online lessons are delivered in a friendly, encouraging environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
