About Oscar

I am a seasoned math practitioner, who not only has extensive experience in math tutoring at all levels across school and university, but also understand the real life practice of math, ranging from day-to-day uses to professional applications (as a qualified actuary). I genuinely believe that it is important to nurture the interest in math studies by constantly engaging and explaining to the students about the "why" and "how", so that they not only can tick off the exam questions, but also over time being able to apply the techniques and thought process to a broader use.

About the lesson

All the sessions will aim to balance out theoretical knowledge and practical examples - focus not only on the "what" but also on the "why" and "how". The sessions and program will be tailored for the students' current ability and pathway to achieve their goals.
