About Rose
I am enthusiastic about sharing my love of history with young people. My former students have commented on the energy and enthusiasm I bring to the learning environment.
Alongside this, I appreciate how challenging exam technique can be for students. I use a combination of oral rehearsal, scaffolded examples, and feedback on independent work to ensure that students’ thought process and insight can shine through on the page.

My name is Rose, and I am a QTS qualified secondary History teacher.
I can help you to reinforce your subject knowledge, improve your essay writing technique, and develop your exam preparation skills.
I hold a BA from the University of Cambridge in Archaeology, and I have just completed the Secondary History PGCE at the University of Oxford. I would be eager to speak with anyone considering a future at Oxbridge!
I have experience in the classroom teaching KS3, GCSE, and A Level pupils across a wide range of ability levels, as well as experience in one-to-one online tutoring.
My approach is student-focused. Over the course of our sessions, I help students to tackle areas they feel they need the most help.
