About Anshika
As a teacher of mathematical logic, I guide students through the intricate world of formal reasoning and logical structures that underpin much of mathematics and computer science. My aim is to equip learners with a deep understanding of how to construct valid arguments, analyze formal systems, and apply logical methods to solve complex problems. Whether exploring propositional and predicate logic, or diving into advanced topics like Gödel’s incompleteness theorems and model theory, I encourage students to approach logic not just as a mathematical tool, but as a means of sharpening critical thinking and analytical skills. My teaching emphasizes clarity, rigor, and the connection between abstract theory and real-world applications.

In my lecture on mathematical logic, we delve into the fundamental principles that form the backbone of logical reasoning in mathematics. We explore the structure of formal languages, the syntax and semantics of logical systems, and the distinction between propositional and predicate logic. By understanding how formal proofs are constructed, we examine the concepts of consistency, completeness, and soundness within logical frameworks. Additionally, we discuss how mathematical logic serves as the foundation for areas such as set theory, computability, and complexity theory, providing a crucial toolset for both theoretical research and practical applications in computer science, mathematics, and philosophy.
