About Stephen

Working Experience: I have a rich working experience, for I have worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) and tutorial fellow at the University of Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya where I taught subject units such as calculus algebra and set theory. Moreover, I have also worked as an online maths and algebra tutor at Preply. Education: I am highly educated as far as mathematics is concerned. I loved the subject since I was little and my dream was to study the subject up to Ph.D. level. At the moment, I have acquired a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (2016), and a master's degree in Pure Mathematics (2019) Other: I have been interacting with other mathematicians globally by attending summer schools and workshops, and I made use of such rare opportunities to improve upon my personality. Now, I am more patient and I have excellent listening skills. I believe that such skills will help me to become a better tutor. Working Experience 2017 - 2019: GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT (GTA), UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI 2019 - Present: Online Mathematics and algebra tutor at Preply. EDUCATION: 2017-2019: M.SC. Welcome to my page! I am an experienced tutor, with a master's degree in Pure Mathematics. My lessons are fun, fast-paced, and focused, and I am confident that we are going to be very productive. I love mathematics and after interacting with you, I will make sure that you love the subject as much as I do. I am convinced that the best way to master mathematics is through practice and less theory. Our goal is to achieve competence through maximum involvement and focus on the subject. I will not ask you to sit quietly by yourself and consume information, Things will be different from the typical predictable classroom. Please book a lesson and see for yourself!
