My approach to tutoring depends on the individual child. Every child has a unique learning style—visual, verbal, auditory/musical, physical/kinesthetic, logical, social, or a combination of these. My first step is to observe and identify how the child learns best. Once I understand their learning style, I develop a tutoring plan that aligns with their strengths and supports their needs.
In addition, I focus on identifying what motivates the student. Motivation plays a key role in learning, especially for young learners. By incorporating their interests, providing encouragement, and setting achievable goals, I help students stay engaged and build confidence. This personalized approach allows me to meet each child where they are and support meaningful, lasting learning.
