About Jayda
I'm an avid reader and spoken-word writer, as well as an independent performing songwriter. I love the power that English holds, and I've experienced boundaries that can arise without fluency and the ability to self-express. My father speaks English as a second language, immigrating here to Canada at 18 years old, and without the ability to speak fluently, I'd have never seen him work the same job for 23 years. Whether you're new to English or you want to specifically learn some creative tips—let's do it!
